They contribute to a society with less bureaucracy in  which people can look after themselves. The ifund Foundation is not profit-driven, but does invest on the basis of businesslike terms and conditions. That implies that we provide funding as other informals do, on the basis of conservative valuation, normal interest rates and other business terms and conditions. This also means that there must be the prospect of profit on the horizon, below the line too, within a reasonable period. We consider it important that initiators also invest in their start-up and pursue a policy of only moderate remuneration for themselves.

We strive to provide more added value than simply the funding, therefore it is important to assess jointly that we are on the same page with regard to your product or service and strategy. We would like to make our own experience as entrepreneurs available – as well as the experience and specific knowledge of our Board of Advisors – to truly help you on your way.

Ifund wants to make the difference, to do something that really counts. We would prefer not to be in competition with other investors raring to go, should they be in scope. If you are able to access funding with a bank or an informal investor and you do not appreciate what we can bring to the table, then the ifund Foundation has no added value.
